Today, Sunday, 1 December 2024, the events of the ‘Libya International Forum and Exhibition for Security Means and Modern Equipment’ took place, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of the Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed Bashir Al-Amin, Deputy Minister of the Interior for Directorates Affairs, Major General Abdullah Abudbus, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Company for Security Goods, a number of deputies from the Government of National Unity, a number of ambassadors accredited to Libya, and presidents, directors and deputies of participating companies.
The opening ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem and welcoming remarks. The Prime Minister then cut the traditional ribbon.
During a tour of the exhibition, the Prime Minister was briefed on the technologies and equipment displayed by the participating companies, which included modern surveillance systems, hazard detection devices, and advanced solutions for securing vital facilities.
In a speech during the tour, the Prime Minister emphasised the government’s interest in strengthening the country’s security infrastructure, explaining that the adoption of these technologies contributes directly to supporting stability.
It is worth mentioning that the Libya International Forum and Exhibition for Security Means and Modern Equipment is held under the official patronage of the Ministry of the Interior and the Libyan Centre for Strategic Studies and National Security, and is organised by the Libya International Media, Marketing and Exhibition Services Company.
